Core Gamers covers action and shooter games: what they are, who made them, and how to get through them. The guides run from a two-paragraph hint sheet to a fifty-part walkthrough, and the catalogue reaches back to the DOS era, so the games nobody writes about any more are here alongside this year's.

We are one of five: RPG Gamers takes the role-playing games, Strategy Gamers the strategy and tactics, Platform Gamers the platformers, and JustAdventure the adventures. The games catalogue is shared between us, so a shooter with stealth sections is a single entry that shows up on whichever site covers it rather than a copy on each.
