Zapper: One Wicked Cricket!

Zapper: One Wicked Cricket! is an action-adventure “avoid-em-up” where a cricket hops through six interactive worlds to rescue his brother from the evil magpie queen.

ATARI PRESENTS is a series of titles focused on preserving cult classics and forgotten favorites. Each title is presented unchanged from its original version, other than being made playable on modern hardware.

Zapper is an action-adventure game in which a cricket hops through six interactive worlds to find his brother, who is held captive by the evil magpie queen. Dangerous traps and enemies stand in the way, and fast-footed skill and timing are needed to reach the final showdown.

The game uses classic “avoid-em-up” gameplay from the makers of Frogger 2: Swampy’s Revenge. It also features unique enemies and traps, along with an intuitive control system and increasingly complex levels.
