Wing Commander 5: Prophecy Gold Edition is a space combat simulator where you play Lance Casey on missions for the Confederacy aboard the TCS Midway, with late-90s FMV conversations and battles against an alien threat.

After the Border Worlds conflict, peace returns to the galaxy. Colonel Chris Blair transfers to the Naval Forces, while the Confederation retires some of the old guard to make room for new pilots.

Lance Casey and his best friend Max Garrett are fresh from the Academy and assigned to the TCS Midway. A distress call from the Kilrathi turns what seems like a routine mission into something far more serious.

You play as Lance Casey on dangerous missions for the Confederacy. The game features FMV conversations with crew mates, space combat, and a new alien threat tied to an ancient Kilrathi prophecy.
