Whisper Mountain: Outbreak is an isometric co-op PvE multiplayer survival horror game where players work together to escape the cursed, fog-covered Mt. Bisik. They explore abandoned buildings, fight monsters, scavenge resources, craft items, and solve puzzles.

The story is set in 1998, when a mining operation on Mt. Bisik disturbed a ruin buried deep inside the mountain and unleashed an ancient horror. After a mysterious fog covered the area, people began hearing whispers and seeing monsters.

Monsters attack in waves, and players use melee and ranged weapons, herbs, and teamwork to survive. Cooperation also matters for communication, rescuing downed teammates, sharing scarce resources, and finding keys and doors to escape.

The game also focuses on uncovering the town’s dark secrets by reading notes and talking with NPCs. Its atmosphere is described as claustrophobic, suspenseful, dark, and creepy, with tight rooms, limited visibility, and limited resources.
