Vimana

Vimana is a vertical shooter where players fight space enemies with shots and eight rotating shield orbs, set in a world inspired by Indian mythology and Sanskrit epics.

Toaplan’s vertical shooter follows a journey through Indian mythology, with a world described as having been devoured by madness. Only a few righteous souls remain, and they must revive the sacred fighter craft Vimana in its holy temple to restore peace.

The game features simple controls, an exciting challenge level, and co-op play. Players can use wide-ranging shots and eight rotating shield orbs while facing malicious space pests.

It also includes a soundtrack by Toshiaki Tomizawa. Quality-of-life features mentioned include quick save and reload, online leaderboards, rewind, assist features such as auto-fire, Very Easy Mode, pixel-perfect or full-screen scaling, rotation options, and a customizable practice mode.
