Turok

Turok is a 3D action game where you explore the Lost Land as the time-traveling warrior Turok, fighting enemies and searching for the eight pieces of the Chronoscepter.

When it was first released in 1997, Turok introduced players to a vast 3D world filled with enemies, traps, puzzles, and weapons. The classic game has since been restored and enhanced with a new visual engine and additional features.

New features include support for high resolutions and widescreen, improved gameplay and level design, OpenGL video backend support, dynamic lighting, bloom, FXAA, enhanced water effects, light shafts, and the ability to freely rebind keyboard, mouse, and gamepad inputs.

The story follows Turok, a time-traveling warrior, in the Lost Land. He must stop The Campaigner, who seeks to use the shattered Chronoscepter to shatter the barriers between the ages and rule the universe.

The game features a fully 3D world, intelligent enemies with variable aggression profiles, 14 weapons, interactive backgrounds with particle technology, and bionically engineered dinosaurs.
