Tiger Heli is a vertical bomb-shooter where you fly a jetcopter, collect power-ups and attack enemies in a war-torn conflict.

Released in 1985, this was Toaplan’s pioneering bomb-based vertical shooter. Its gameplay was widely acclaimed in Japan and around the world, and its legacy continued through Twin Cobra, released two years later.

The game is set during a final stand at sunrise against a war-mongering nation seeking to conquer everything in its path. It is presented as a vertical shooter with items and power-ups such as health, cluster bombs, and mini-jetcopters.

Players can also hunt for bonus points by targeting hidden spots and race cars. The version described includes quality-of-life features such as quick save and reload, online leaderboards, rewind, replay capture, assist options, Very Easy Mode, scaling options, rotation, and practice mode.
