Technocide

Technocide is a sci-fi shoot ’em up where you shoot swarms of enemies before they reach your mothership, with roguelike runs, local two-player co-op, and a rogue AI raiding human settlements.

Technocide DEMO is a shoot ’em up about destroying swarms of enemies before they reach your mothership. It is not a bullet hell, though enemies do return fire.

Damage to the mothership is permanent, and if it is destroyed, you start from the beginning. Going for repairs means passing up extra cash or new equipment, while procedurally generated runs change level selection, bonuses, and enemy combinations.

You control an arsenal of weapons and gadgets, with multiple solutions available for each situation. Excess damage can cause enemies to explode into shrapnel that takes out more enemies, and you can earn style points for chaining kills.

There is local two-player co-op with controllers and keyboard, including the option to play on the same keyboard. The Artificial Scientific Discovery Intelligence has gone rogue and is raiding nearby human settlements with drones for resources.
