Squirrel Stapler is a short horror hunting simulator set in a remote forest, where a lonely man hunts squirrels and explores a nonlinear map in a low-budget edutainment style with absurdist humor.

Originally created as part of The Dread X Collection II, this is a short horror hunting simulator that satirizes low budget edutainment games with pitch black humor and absurdist horror.

A lonely man in a remote cabin wakes up to find his beloved, a dismembered corpse nailed to the cabin wall, made ugly and rotten by flies. He sets out to hunt squirrels from the woods so he can staple them to her and make her beautiful again.

That is not easy, because a sinister presence lurks in the deep forest. It has only one rule: “Thou shalt not staple squirrels!”

Players can hunt squirrels, use a squirrel call to lure bigger ones, avoid larger creatures and vengeful ghosts, explore a large nonlinear map with educational squirrel facts, and meet god.
