Shattered Steel

Shattered Steel is a single-player mech combat game set in a desolate future, where you pilot a Planet Runner through fast-paced missions to fight alien invaders and restore order.

The story takes place in a desolate future where humanity is on the verge of extinction. The Core Wars, fought by rival factions over natural resources and survival, left society in ruins. Massive industrial conglomerates use mechanized mercenary armies to maintain a tenuous order.

You play a hotshot runner pilot who has neutralized hundreds of pirates and rival operations across more than 22 worlds. Your weapon is the Planet Runner, a vehicle that can navigate any terrain and deliver heavy firepower. The goal is to cleanse the planet of alien forces and restore order.

The single-player campaign includes 50 missions and more than 25 armaments, including gatling guns, guided missiles, fuel-air mortars, and plasma cannons. Mission types include search and destroy and escorting convoys, along with mech upgrades.
