Scars Above is a challenging sci-fi third-person action adventure shooter set in a mysterious alien world. It combines the reward of overcoming difficulty with an intricate story.

A colossal alien structure appears in Earth’s orbit and is named the Metahedron. The SCAR team is sent to investigate, but things go wrong and the team is taken across space to an extrasolar planet.

You play as Dr. Kate Ward, a SCAR member who wakes up alone in a hostile environment. She must find her crew and uncover what happened while using ranged weapons, devices, consumables, melee attacks, and elemental combinations to survive.

Exploration takes place across marshlands, freezing wastelands, underground caverns, and alien facilities. Kate can scan artifacts, materials, and creatures to learn more, then craft gadgets, weapons, and abilities in the Xenobiology and Engineering trees.
