PopSlinger is a narrative-focused musical shooter where you play Ria Carbon, using soda-powered guns to fight Corazones and other invaders in a stylish world inspired by ‘80s/‘90s New Retro culture and 90s Japanese animation.

PopSlinger is a narrative-focused musical shooter inspired by ’80s and ’90s New Retro culture. It follows Ria Carbon, a funky heroine on a quest to save the world from invaders from another dimension using soda-powered guns, with help from former PopSlinger heroine Gin.

The story centers on Ria and Gin as they fight the “Corazones,” people whose hearts have been corrupted by dark forces from the other dimension. The soundtrack is fully dynamic and reacts to in-game performance in real time.

The game features dreamy aesthetics inspired by 90s Japanese animation, with marker art, VHS-infused 2D sprites, and fully voiced dialogue cutscenes with hand-drawn portraits. It also includes a soft drink-powered magical arsenal and music inspired by Future Funk, New Jack Swing, and more.
