Paper Animal Adventure is a cute roguelike where you explore a colorful world, fight scary enemies, and relax with friends at the campfire.

A cute roguelike, it lets you explore a colorful world, fight scary enemies, and relax with friends at the campfire. It is inspired by and pays homage to the Paper Mario, Mario & Luigi, and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series.

Maps are procedurally generated, and there are 10 adorable characters specializing in power, utility, and defense. You can equip and upgrade skills, find stickers that grant passive abilities, and use consumable items that can be combined and experimented with.

Bosses can be defeated in their normal form, and some have an alternative stronger version when you start a Rewind Run. There are also 6 different difficulty settings.

The story begins in a small village inhabited by animals of all colors and sizes, ruled by a kind king who suddenly disappears. A group of brave adventurers then emerges, determined to find his whereabouts.
