Overview
Onimusha: Warlords is set in 16th-century Japan during the civil war under Nobunaga Oda, where you play Samanosuke Akechi, who is given the gauntlet of the Ogres after dying while trying to stop Princess Yuki’s kidnapping.

Set in 16th century Japan during the civil war dominated by Nobunaga Oda, the story follows Samanosuke Akechi.
He dies during an attempt to stop the kidnapping of young princess Yuki, the sister of Yoshitatsu Saito.
Akechi is then given another chance at life and handed the gauntlet of the Ogres.
