Jet Lancer is a high-velocity aerial combat shooter where you duel enemy aviators, hunt giant robots, and fly at supersonic speeds. You play as Ash Leguinn, a mercenary pilot and flight-school drop out.

As mechanized weapons converge on Root City, Ash must push beyond her limits to survive and save the world. The story-driven single-player campaign includes 30 missions and 11 bosses.

The game features precise, responsive controls, a customizable loadout with 28 guns, payloads, and flight components, and New Game Plus with more relentless AI and new attack patterns. It also includes accessibility options such as adjustable dodge windows, an invincibility option, and settings to disable screenshake and screen flashing.

The soundtrack is by Fat Bard. The game also includes a talking cat named Lem.
