Iridion II

Iridion II is a shooter where you pilot a powerful spaceship through 5 galaxies and 15 planets to fight the returning IRIDION Empire and protect Earth.

More than a hundred years after Earth was attacked by the IRIDION forces, the enemy has returned. Human outposts have lost contact, and the last transmissions say the IRIDION Empire has taken over all colonized systems. With Earth too far away for help to arrive in time, a single heavily equipped spaceship must stop the threat before it reaches the last human planet.

Travel through 5 huge galaxies containing 15 unique planets, and face over 200 enemies and 30 boss enemies. Collect power-ups to gain new weapons, increase fire power, and refill energy. The game includes Starter, Advanced, and Ace pilot difficulty settings, plus a tutorial that explains the needed strategies.

It also offers a soundtrack with more than 25 songs, a create-your-own-musical-theme part, and an unlockable gallery. Controls can be remapped with keyboard and gamepad support, and progress can be saved at any point.

Modes of play include Story Mode, Arcade Mode, and Challenge Mode. Story Mode covers the 15 planets across 5 galaxies, Arcade Mode lets players replay cleared levels and hunt for high scores, and Challenge Mode asks players to beat all 15 end bosses as fast as possible.
