Gloomy Eyes

Adventure puzzle game where you control Gloomy and Nena in single-player, switching between them to solve environmental puzzles in a handcrafted, Tim Burton-inspired world of eternal night, living vs. undead conflict, and spooky charm.

When the sun gave up on humanity, darkness took its place. In a world of eternal night, the living and the undead are in conflict, but two unlikely companions still hold on to hope: Gloomy, a sweet zombie boy, and Nena, a mischievous human girl.

This is a single-player “self-coop” adventure where you control both characters and switch between them to solve environmental puzzles. Each one has different abilities, and both are needed to progress.

The game presents a creepy, cozy horror atmosphere with a handcrafted, Tim Burton-inspired style. It avoids gore and jump scares, instead focusing on spooky charm, eerie beauty, and a bleak fairy-tale journey to bring back the daylight.

Each level is built as a rotatable diorama filled with details, secrets, and puzzles. The story is framed as a tale of forbidden companionship told by an old gravekeeper.
