Echoes of the End: Enhanced Edition is a free update to the 2025 fantasy action-adventure game, shaped by player feedback. It refines nearly every part of the experience, with changes and additions made after the game launched.

Combat has been overhauled, with retimed or redone animations, smoother transitions, improved input buffering, refined lock-on, more responsive animation cancelling, and stronger hit feedback. The update also adds a new equipment system with 13 outfits for Ryn, each able to use relics that adjust stats and abilities.

New difficulty mode Journey offers a more balanced experience, and New Game lets players start over after completing the game once while carrying over abilities, relics, and outfits. The first chapter has also been reworked visually and mechanically, with new voice lines, improved performance, streamlined tutorials, and faster access to some abilities.

Ryn’s movement has been refined to feel more grounded, fluid, and responsive, with updated animations, new facial performances for certain attacks, and improved controller support with better haptics and button bindings.
