Overview
Earthworm Jim 2 is a surreal action game where Jim and Snott chase Psy-Crow across the universe to rescue Princess What’s-Her-Name, with each stage offering a different style and mission.
About the game
Jim and his new sidekick Snott try to rescue Princess What’s-Her-Name from a forced marriage to Psy-Crow. While chasing him across the universe, Jim visits the summer homes of several villains from the first game, including Major Mucus, Evil the Cat, and Bob the Killer Goldfish.
The game keeps the irreverent, surreal humor of the original, but adds more varied gameplay. Each stage has its own style and mission, with different objectives from stage to stage.
It also includes new weapons alongside the Plasma Blaster, such as the Three-Finger Gun, the Electro-Gun, Homing Missiles, the Barn Blaster, and the Bubble Gun. Snott is now a permanent companion and can be used to stick and swing from slimy green surfaces or as a parachute.
