Batsugun is a sci-fi shoot-‘em-up where you choose from six pilots and three ship types to battle enemy threats in space, with Batsugun Special adding rebalanced loops and altered enemy behavior.

Batsugun is Toaplan’s shoot-‘em-up swansong, featuring six pilots and three ship types. It presents dazzling graphics, strong firepower, and an accessible style for both experienced players and newcomers.

The included Batsugun Special version has rebalanced gameplay, new colors, altered enemy behavior, a smaller hitbox, and a shield that protects the ship from one hit. It also adds multiple loops, with difficulty increasing after each completion.

The original game features sci-fi battles, weapons such as Sky Mirage, Dragon’s Whisper, and Judgement Flash, and experience points that boost firepower. Music is by Yoshitatsu Sakai.

Quality of life options include minimal input lag, quick save and reload, online leaderboards, rewind, replay capture, assist features, very easy mode, scaling options, rotation, and a customizable practice mode.
