B-17 Flying Fortress The Mighty 8th Redux

World War II flight simulation where you lead a 10-man B-17 crew through historical campaigns and missions over Nazi-occupied Europe, taking different crew roles and fighting enemy fighters and anti-aircraft fire.

The missions undertaken by B-17 bomber crews during World War II are presented as a campaign of historical combat over Nazi-occupied Europe. Players lead a 10-man crew against squadrons of enemy warplanes while managing different crew roles aboard a B-17.

This remastered version uses the original engine upgraded to support DX 12 functionality. It includes historical campaigns, quick start missions, training missions, historical missions, and updated visuals and interface.

During early access, the game is planned to receive updated B-17 interiors, new crew models, updated interfaces, music in menus, updated front end menus, updated airfield interiors, an aspect ratio upgrade from 4:3 to 16:9, terrain enhancements, and smoother frame rates and better performance on modern machines.

Planned improvements also include updated B-17 exteriors, updated fighter exteriors, improved player control options, new missions, improvements to training missions and tutorials, a new game manual, and larger aircraft formations.
