Axe Cop

A classic retro RPG with traditional turn-based combat, Axe Cop has you play as Axe Cop and his team on missions against enemies across comic-book locations like a volcano full of dinosaurs, a giant monster, and London.

In 2009, Malachai and Ethan Nicolle created the comic book Axe Cop. This game is presented as an official adaptation celebrating more than ten years of the series.

It is a classic retro RPG in which players control Axe Cop and his team on missions against enemies such as Bad Santa Claus, Dr. Stinkyhead, and Dr. Doo doo. The story follows Axe Cop after he finds his axe at the scene of a fire and meets Flute Cop, then sets out to recover a mysterious machine and three magic gems.

Combat is turn-based, and characters learn moves and improve through level-up choices. Each hero has a unique field ability, such as Axe Cop chopping cracked items, Flute Cop interacting with magic statues, and Sockarang using a remote control sock boomerang.

The game also includes cameos from many characters drawn by Ethan Nicolle and representation from every published book, whether as main missions or side content. Locations include a volcano full of dinosaurs, the insides of a giant monster, and London.
